Smart Charge, a charging discount and charger service without an extra monthly subscription. Here is what is included, what you need, and how it works.
You need an active enkel electricity agreement. Smart Charge and the charging discount require a compatible car and charger, the necessary data and automated home charging through the enkel app. We support Zaptec, Easee and NexBlue; check the car-brand list and full terms.
Set your departure time. When all conditions are met, you are billed at the cheapest hours in your charging window, regardless of when the energy is actually delivered.
All home charging in the charging window must be automated through the enkel app, without manual intervention or third-party control. The car and charger must provide the necessary data. Manual charging removes the guarantee for the affected session.

Home charging must be fully automated through enkel Smart Charge. The charger must be online and connected to the platform throughout the month. The discount can change with at least one month’s notice. See the full terms for treatment of other charging types.
Software updates, remote support and troubleshooting with an active enkel electricity agreement and a supported charger.
Applies to supported chargers whether bought from us or elsewhere. If you already have a service agreement with another provider, you must cancel it yourself.
Smart Charge also requires a compatible car and the necessary data. Savings depend on prices and charging patterns; future savings are not guaranteed.
